GETTING TO CORTONA

By car
Exit from Autostrada del Sole at the Valdichiana exit.
After the toll booth take Siena-Perugia superhighway towards Perugia. There are three exits for Cortona: CORTONA 1 - Via Manzano, CORTONA 2 - Via Lauretana, and CORTONA 3 - on State Road 71
(S.S. 71). Take S.S: 71 . At the small town of Camucia, take the fork for Cortona on the provincial Umbro-Cortonese Road.

By train
If taking the direttissima line from Milano-Bologna-Florence-Rome get off either at the stop
TERONTOLA-CORTONA ( .194 km fromRome- km.122 from Florence) or at the
CAMUCIA-CORTONA stop.
Intercity and Express trains normally stops at the Terontola train station, 11 km from Cortona, whereas Eurostar stopa only at Arezzo 30 km from Cortona or at Chiusi Chianciano, 35 km from Cortona.
There is a regular bus service to Cortona from both the Terontola-Cortona (km.11) and Camucia-Cortona (km.5) train station
